Buy a thick notebook and get into the habit of taking notes. In English class, when your teacher explains to you some language points that you don’t know or when you read some good articles about the usage of some words and sentence patterns in your spare time, you should write them down on your notebook at once. Without taking notes, you can’t learn English well, I believe. Therefore, I hope that those who haven’t got into the habit of making notes make notes from now on! Every morning, spend some time in reviewing the language points in your notebook and do what you can to learn them by heart. Thus you English knowledge will be accumulated and enlarged slowly

1. Have a good English dictionary. A good English dictionary is a good teacher that can’t speak. Whenever and wherever you meet some difficulties in English, you can open your dictionary and ask it for help.
2. Have a good grammar book. Read the book as carefully as possible from the beginning to the end. Read some grammar items every day and try to memorize the explanations. After that, you’d better do some exercises related to the grammar items to consolidate what you have learnt. Only by this can you learn grammar well.
