我感觉“why the team had failed to win the game”似宾语补足语多过似宾语,但那里却有个连接副词why,因而暗示这确是宾语,并且是直接宾语,前面的an article理所当然就成了间接宾语.到底我应该怎么理解?

an article才是直接宾语.on这里是介词.后面是WHY引导的名词性重句对an article进行说明的.就是所说的间接宾语.
而宾语补足语能和宾语成为逻辑上的主谓关系,比如这句I found myself in a different world里面宾语myself 和宾补in a different world是逻辑上的主谓关系.
